Amazon Fire TV Images
You will need to have the following images prepared before you can save and publish your Amazon Fire TV app. Below we’ve outlined both optional and required image assets. At the end of this article is a deliverables checklist to make sure you have all the necessary assets when you create your Amazon Fire TV app. Please visit Amazon’s image asset documentation for a detailed explanation of these images and to ensure your images are within the Content Safe Zone.
App Store Icon
The App Icon appears within a row of other App Icons in the Fire TV user interface.
- Image Requirements: 1280 x 720 pixels, PNG (no transparency)
When users scroll across your app from a browse page, the Background Image appears in the upper-right corner of a mini-detail page.
Elements at the bottom half of the screen and the left-hand of the screen will overlap the image, so please keep the important part of your artwork in the upper right-hand side (the “Content Safe Zone”).
- Image Requirements: 1920 x 1080px, 24-bit PNG (no transparency)
Featured Content Logo (optional)
The Featured Content Logo communicates the title of your app in Fire TV’s featured app placement. The Featured Content Logo appears as the foreground image over the Featured Background image.
- Size: 640 x 260 pixels; Format: 24-bit PNG (transparency optional)
Featured Content Background (optional)
The Featured Content Background is the backdrop that appears for featured apps. The featured content logo (described in the next section) appears as a foreground image on top of this Featured Content Background.
Elements at the bottom and left-hand side of the screen and the navigation at the top of the screen will overlap the image, so please keep the important part of your artwork within the “Content Safe Zone”.
